Ad/F2000/32 - Fuselage - LH Stringer 13 at Frame 8 (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below issues the following Airworthiness Directive (AD) under subregulation 39.001(1) of CASR 1998.  The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.

Dassault Aviation Falcon 2000 Series Aeroplanes

AD/F2000/32 Fuselage - LH Stringer 13 at Frame 8 10/2008

Applicability:

Falcon 2000EX aircraft from serial number 102 to 124 inclusive.

Requirement:

Action in accordance with EASA AD 2008-0143

Note:  Dassault Aviation Service Bulletin F2000EX-178 refers.

Compliance:

Required as indicated unless previously accomplished,

Before accumulation of 3 750 Total Flight Cycles or within 74 months since the date of airplane delivery, whichever occurs first.

This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 25 September 2008.

Background:

This Airworthiness Directive mandates an inspection and a conditional rework or replacement of the web of the LH stringer 13 between frames 7 and 8.
