AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
For the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below issues the following Airworthiness Directive (AD) under subregulation 39.001(1) of CASR 1998. The AD requires that the action set out in the requirement section (being action that the delegate considers necessary to correct the unsafe condition) be taken in relation to the aircraft or aeronautical product mentioned in the applicability section: (a) in the circumstances mentioned in the requirement section; and (b) in accordance with the instructions set out in the requirement section; and (c) at the time mentioned in the compliance section.

Compliance: | If a certificate of airworthiness has not been issued for the aircraft - before issue of the certificate of airworthiness. If a certificate of airworthiness has been issued for the aircraft - within 60 days after the effective date of this Directive.
| This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 30 June 2010. | |||
Background: | The Netherlands ADs listed in Table 1 of this Directive require once-only actions for which the compliance date and/or period has passed. CASA has determined that these ADs may be applicable to recently-registered Australian aircraft. This Directive is issued to ensure all State of Design ADs are complied with. CASA appreciates that, due to date of aircraft manufacture or aircraft configuration and modification status, some of the ADs listed in Table 1 will not be applicable to some aeroplanes.
