AD/ENST 28/3 Cable Gauge/Circuit Protection Coordination Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/ENST 28/3.

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 27 August 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD raised in 1974 required a modification to meet the standards expressed in obsolete Air Navigation Order 108.32 so that cable gauge/circuit protection co-ordination is complied with.

Compliance was before issue of a certificate of airworthiness.

This AD has been sufficiently promulgated over an extended period for the affected helicopters to have been modified by now; therefore this AD is considered to be no longer required.

This AD has been reviewed in accordance with the AD review program.  The AD required a modification that has been sufficiently promulgated.  This AD is therefore cancelled.
