AD/ENST 28/28 Clutch Engagement Handle Guard Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/ENST 28/28.

AD/ENST 28/28 Clutch Engagement Handle Guard 9/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 27 August 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1986 against Enstrom Service Directive Bulletin (SDB) No. 0070, required a modification to prevent the possibility of the clutch being inadvertently disengaged by installing a guard over the clutch operating lever.  Compliance was required within 50 hours TIS after 30 June 1986.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
