AD/ENST 28/22 Main Rotor Transmission Mount Bolts Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/ENST 28/22.

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 27 August 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1979 against Enstrom Service Directive Bulletin (SDB) No. 0049, required an inspection to identify NAS146R-57 main rotor transmission mount bolts with defectively form heads and remove them from service.  Compliance was required within 100 hours TIS after 31 July 1979.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
