AD/ENST 28/11 Fuel Tank Vent Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/ENST 28/11.

AD/ENST 28/11 Fuel Tank Vent - Modification 9/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 27 August 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD raised in1976 against Enstrom Service Note (SN)
No. 0028 required a modification to re-route fuel tank vent system to prevent entry of water from fuel tank scupper drain system.

Compliance was within 100 hours TIS after 27 February 1976.

This AD has been sufficiently promulgated for the affected helicopters to have been modified by now; therefore this AD is considered to be no longer required.
