AD/EMY/21 Life Jackets (RFD) Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/EMY/21.

AD/EMY/21 Life Jackets (RFD) - Inspection 3/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 12 March 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, which was raised in 1984, required a one off inspection and pressure test of RDF life jackets type MK2, type 80 MK2BA and type 1001, to ensure integrity of life jackets made from material specification DTI-MS3/14/0446 by Bramac Industries.

Compliance was required before 30 November 1984.

As all affected life jackets would have been inspected and tested by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required.
