AD/EMB-110/3 Propeller Auto Feather System Relay Installation Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/EMB-110/3.

AD/EMB-110/3 Propeller Auto Feather System - Relay Installation 13/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 18 December 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD raised in 1974 against Embraer Service Bulletin (SB)
No. 110-61-011, required a fail safe modification by introducing two relays into the propeller auto-feathering system following cases of accidental auto-feathering caused by malfunction of the low torque pressure switch.

Compliance was within 100 hours TIS after 31 October 1978.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required.
