Embraer EMB-110 (Bandeirante) Series Aeroplanes

AD/EMB-110/19 Fire Extinguishing System - Wire Disconnection 13/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 18 December 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD was raised in 1982 against Embraer Service Bulletin (SB) No. 110-26-005 required disconnection of redundant wiring installed in the engine compartment that in the event of insulation loss may cause a short circuit rendering the fire extinguisher system inoperative.

Compliance was within 100 hours TIS after 30 November 1982.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required.
