AD/EMB-110/14 Vertical Stabiliser, Rudder Central Hinge Fitting Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/EMB-110/14.

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 18 December 2008.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1981 against Embraer Service Bulletin (SB) No. 110-55-009, required a modification to the vertical stabiliser, rudder central hinge fitting, by drilling a drain hole to prevent water collecting on the hinge fitting.  Compliance was required within 250 hours TIS after 30 September 1981.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is no longer required.
