Embraer EMB-110 (Bandeirante) Series Aeroplanes

AD/EMB-110/10 Fuel Tank Alternate Vent - Removal 13/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 18 December 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD was raised in 1980 against Embraer Service Bulletin (SB) No. 110-28-015 that recommended a modification to improve lightning protection by removal of the fuel tank alternate vent and installing a plug on the flame arrestor assembly.

Compliance was within 300 hours TIS after 30 September 1980.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required.
