AD/DO-27/2 Tailplane Front Spar Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/DO-27/2.

AD/DO-27/2 Tailplane Front Spar - Modification 8/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 30 July 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in 1974 against Dornier Technical Bulletin No. 27/13, required an inspection, repair and modification of the centre section of the tailplane front spar following reports of cracking.  Compliance was required before 1 September 1971.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
