De Havilland Piston Engines

AD/DHE/9 Engine Speed - Restriction 6/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 4 June 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD raised prior to 1962 against DH Special Propeller Technical Instruction No. 23 or ANO 106.1.7.6.1 issue 2 requiring engine speed restriction applicable to Gipsy Queen 70, 70-2 and 70-3 series engines not modified to DH Mod. G1704 and all Gipsy Queen 70 series fitted with single piece barrel propellers.

Compliance was:  Forthwith.

This AD has been sufficiently promulgated for the affected engines to have been modified by now; therefore this AD is considered to be no longer required.
