AD/DHE/4 Supercharger Drive System Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/DHE/4.

AD/DHE/4 Supercharger Drive System - Modification 6/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 4 June 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD raised prior to 1962 against DH Mod’s G1303, G1448, G1583, G1586 and G1707: or ANO 106.1.7.6.5.5, applicable to Gipsy Queen 70 series engines, required a modification to the supercharger drive system.

Compliance was:  Before installation in an aircraft.

This AD has been sufficiently promulgated for the affected engines to have been modified by now; therefore this AD is considered to be no longer required.
