AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

Bombardier (Boeing Canada/De Havilland) DHC-8 Series Aeroplanes

AD/DHC-8/5 Amdt 1 Fire Bottle Explosive Squib Wiring 12/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 19 November 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised 1989 against de Havilland Canada Service Bulletins (SB) A8-26-8 and 8-26-9, required a modification to preclude the possibility of cross-wiring engine fire bottle squibs.  Compliance was required not later than 7 May 1989.

As all affected aircraft will have been modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
