AD/DHC-8/5 Amdt 1 Fire Bottle Explosive Squib Wiring Cancelled (Cth)
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/DHC-8/5 Amdt 1.
Bombardier (Boeing Canada/De Havilland) DHC-8 Series Aeroplanes
| AD/DHC-8/5 Amdt 1 | Fire Bottle Explosive Squib Wiring | 12/2009 |
Requirement: | CANCELLED. |
| This AD is cancelled on 19 November 2009. | |
Background: | This AD, raised 1989 against de Havilland Canada Service Bulletins (SB) A8-26-8 and 8-26-9, required a modification to preclude the possibility of cross-wiring engine fire bottle squibs. Compliance was required not later than 7 May 1989. As all affected aircraft will have been modified long ago, this AD is no longer required. |
