AD/DHC-6/6 Tailplane Attachment Bolts Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/DHC-6/6.

AD/DHC-6/6 Tailplane Attachment Bolts - Modification 12/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 20 November 2008.

Background:

This AD was raised in 1967 against De Havilland Canada Modification Bulletin (MB) No. 6/1114, requiring a modification to permit a visual check of the horizontal stabiliser to fuselage attachment bolts to ensure the bolts are in safety.  Compliance was required before 1 January 1968.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is no longer required.
