AD/DHC-6/57 Voltage Regulators Inspection and Provision of Ground Wires Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/DHC-6/57.

AD/DHC-6/57 Voltage Regulators - Inspection
and Provision of Ground Wires 12/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 20 November 2008.

Background:

This AD was raised in 1985 against De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Service Bulletin (SB) No. 6/473, requiring a special inspection to ensure two ground wires had not been inadvertently omitted during incorporation of Modification No. 6/1590 during production.

Compliance was prior to 31 July 1985.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required.
