AD/DHC-6/5 Fuselage Frame and Wing Strut Modification Cancelled (Cth)
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/DHC-6/5.
DHC-6 (Twin Otter) Series Aeroplanes
| AD/DHC-6/5 | Fuselage Frame and Wing Strut - Modification | 12/2008 |
Requirement: | CANCELLED. |
| This AD is cancelled on 20 November 2008. | |
Background: | This AD was raised in 1967 against De Havilland Canada Modification Bulletin (MB) No. 6/1063, requiring a modification to install a steel bush on both sides of the fuselage frame at the wing strut attachment to increase fatigue life and to modify the wing strut. Compliance was required before 1 July 1968. As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is no longer required. |
