AD/DHC-6/26 Nose Landing Gear Fork Lock Pin - Inspection 12/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 20 November 2008.

Background:

This AD was raised in 1971 against De Havilland Canada Service Bulletin (SB)
No. 6/40, requiring an inspection of the nose landing gear fork lock pin following a reported incident of the lock pin working out of position with consequential loosening of the fork retaining nut.  Compliance was required within 100 hours TIS after
30 June 1971.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected by now, this AD is no longer required.
