AD/DHC-6/22 Propeller Auto Feather System Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/DHC-6/22.

AD/DHC-6/22 Propeller Auto Feather System - Modification 12/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 20 November 2008.

Background:

This AD was raised in 1970 against De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Service Bulletin (SB) No. 6/236, requiring a modification to prevent inadvertent partial feathering of a propeller following slam selection of the power levers to full power position.

Compliance was before 1 September 1970.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required.
