AD/DHC-6/19 Propeller and Power Control Lever Interlock Mod Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/DHC-6/19.

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 20 November 2008.

Background:

This AD was raised in 1969 against De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Service Bulletin (SB) No. 6/183, requiring a modification to prevent movement of the power control levers out of the flight control sector when the propeller control lever is not at the forward (Maximum) position.

Compliance was within 100 hours TIS after 23 December 1969.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required.
