AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/DHC-6/14.

DHC-6 (Twin Otter) Series Aeroplanes

AD/DHC-6/14 Fuselage to Wing Front
Spar Attachments - Inspection
12/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 20 November 2008.

Background:

This AD was raised in 1968 against De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Service Bulletin (SB) No. 6/149, requiring an inspection and modification of the wing front spar fuselage attachment adaptors following cracks being found on several aircraft.  Compliance was required within 200 hours TIS after 28 November 1968.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected and modified by now, this AD is no longer required.
