AD/DHC-3/21 Rudder Pedal Support Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/DHC-3/21.

AD/DHC-3/21 Rudder Pedal Support 12/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 20 November 2008.

Background:

This AD was raised in 1966 against De Havilland Canada TNS Otter No. 96, requiring a modification on the rudder pedal support to prevent high stress concentration and to take compression loads on the "V" frame.  Compliance was required forthwith.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is no longer required.
