AD/DHC-3/20 Mixture Control Lever Quadrant Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/DHC-3/20.

AD/DHC-3/20 Mixture Control Lever Quadrant 12/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 20 November 2008.

Background:

This AD was raised in 1964  requiring marking or remarking the mixture control lever quadrant with the "LEAN" and "CUT-OFF" positions following reports of the engine cutting out suddenly and being difficult to lean.

Compliance was forthwith.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required.
