DHC-2 (Beaver) Series Aeroplanes

AD/DHC-2/4 Undercarriage Legs - Anti-Corrosion Treatment 11/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 23 October 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised against de Havilland (Canada) Technical News Sheet (TNS) Series "B" No.90, issue 2, dated 16 May 1957, required the application of an anti-corrosion treatment to the main undercarriage legs due to the inadequacy of the original internal protection.  Compliance was required forthwith.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected and treated by now, this AD is no longer required.
