| AD/DHC-1/9 | Rudder Torque Tube Flange - Inspection | 11/2008 |
Requirement: | CANCELLED. |
| This AD is cancelled on 23 October 2008. | |
Background: | This unique AD was raised in 1957, requiring an inspection for cracks of the rudder torque tube, Part No. C1-TR-91, in the area of the shoulders on the semi-circular flange and the rivets securing the flange to the rudder torque tube. Compliance was required at intervals not exceeding 250 hours TIS. As this AD is superseded by AD/DHC-1/38, referencing British Aerospace Mandatory Technical News Sheet (TNS) CT(C1) No. 200 and applicable UK CAA AD 006-03-97, it is no longer required. |
