AD/DHC-1/2 Engine Mount Pick-Up Points Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/DHC-1/2.

De Havilland DHC-1 (Chipmunk) Series Aeroplanes

AD/DHC-1/2 Engine Mount Pick-Up Points - Modification 11/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 23 October 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in 1952 against De Havilland Technical News Sheet (TNS) CT(CI) No. 63, required a modification to engine mount pick-up points.  Compliance was required forthwith.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is no longer required.
