AD/DHC-1/18 Fuselage Centre Top Structure Inspection and Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/DHC-1/18.

AD/DHC-1/18 Fuselage Centre Top Structure - Inspection and Modification 11/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 23 October 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, raised in 1966 against Hawker Siddeley Technical News Sheet (TNS) CT(CI) No. 154, required an inspection, and, if necessary, modification of the fuselage centre top structure.  Compliance was required before 1 January 1968.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected and modified by now, this AD is no longer required.
