AD/DHA-3/3 Wing Engine Mount Cross Brace Tube Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/DHA-3/3.

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 20 November 2008.

Background:

This AD was raised in 1952 against De Havilland TNS CT(A3) No. 22, requiring DH modification DRO.24 to be carried out to prevent cracking of the cross brace at the bend in its end plate.  Compliance was required forthwith.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is no longer required.
