AD/DHA-3/19 Fuselage Installation of Strengthened Support Brackets Lower Centre Engine Mounts Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/DHA-3/19.

AD/DHA-3/19 Fuselage - Installation of Strengthened Support Brackets - Lower Centre Engine Mounts 12/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 20 November 2008.

Background:

This AD was raised in 1958 against De Havilland TNS CT(A3) No. 107, or DH Modification DRO 98, requiring a modification to prevent cracking in the lower centre engine mounting support brackets, immediately behind the firewall bulkhead.  Compliance was required forthwith.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is no longer required.
