AD/DHA-3/18 Fuselage Cross Beam and Attachment Brackets at Firewall Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/DHA-3/18.

AD/DHA-3/18 Fuselage - Cross Beam and Attachment Brackets at Firewall - Modification 12/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 20 November 2008.

Background:

This AD was raised in 1958 against De Havilland TNS CT(A3) No. 106, or DH Modification DRO 97, requiring a modification to prevent cracking at the attachment brackets securing the fireproof bulkhead upper cross-beam to the fuselage oblique channel sections.  Compliance was required forthwith.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is no longer required.
