AD/DHA-3/17 Fuselage at Wing Rear Pickups Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/DHA-3/17.

AD/DHA-3/17 Fuselage at Wing Rear Pickups - Modification 12/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 20 November 2008.

Background:

This AD was raised in 1958 against De Havilland TNS CT(A3) No. 104, requiring a modification to the fuselage at the rear wing pick-ups due to fatigue induced cracking of the fuselage, frames and doubler channels caused by landing loads.  Compliance was required forthwith.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is no longer required.
