AD/DHA-3/16 Amdt 1 Undercarriage Bolts P/N U3-129 Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/DHA-3/16 Amdt 1.

AD/DHA-3/16 Amdt 1 Undercarriage Bolts P/N U3-129 - Inspection 12/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 20 November 2008.

Background:

This AD was raised in 1957 applicable to models modified in accordance with
DH Modification DRO 82.  It required compliance with De Havilland TNS CT(A3) No.104; an inspection of special bolt U3-129 attaching the main undercarriage rear brace to the compression leg at intervals not exceeding 500 hours TIS.

Given the extended period that this AD has been published, with no defects reported in the mandatory reporting system, this AD is no longer required.
