AD/DHA-3/15 Rear Fuselage Elevator Quadrant Installation Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/DHA-3/15.

Quadrant Installation - Modification 12/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 20 November 2008.

Background:

This AD was raised in 1955 requiring modification DRO.88 to be installed to prevent possible loss of elevator control due to failure of the bracket attaching the combined elevator quadrant support and tail landing gear bracing structure to the fuselage.  Compliance was required forthwith.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is no longer required.
