AD/DHA-3/14 Fairey-Reed Propellers Spinner Removal Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/DHA-3/14.

AD/DHA-3/14 Fairey-Reed Propellers - Spinner Removal 12/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 20 November 2008.

Background:

This AD was raised in 1955 requiring removal of the spinner nose and body assemblies from type A66753/X1 propellers, leaving spinner back plate assembly installed.

Compliance was forthwith.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required.
