AD/DHA-3/10 Hand Brake Installation Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/DHA-3/10.

AD/DHA-3/10 Hand Brake Installation - Modification 12/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 20 November 2008.

Background:

This AD was raised in 1956 against De Havilland Aircraft PTY Ltd. DH Mod.
DRO 77, or Technical News Sheet (TNS) CT (A3) No. 79, requiring modifications to the handbrake installation to prevent the pilot’s seat belt from interfering with the release mechanism and to strengthen the operating shaft.

Compliance was forthwith.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required.
