AD/DH 90/1 Fire Precaution Measures on Refuelling Cancelled (Cth)
AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE
On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/DH 90/1.
DH 90 (Dragonfly) Series Aeroplanes
| AD/DH 90/1 | Fire Precaution Measures on Refuelling | 11/2008 |
Requirement: | CANCELLED. |
| This AD is cancelled on 23 October 2008. | |
Background: | This AD was raised prior to 1968 requiring modifications by reworking the engine inlet manifold drain lines to discharge to the side of the trouser cowls remote from the exhaust stack, and to provide a positive means to prevent any spilled fuel from entering the stub wings or trouser cowls. Compliance was forthwith. As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required. |
