AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/DH 89/4.

DH 89 (Dragon Rapide) Series Aeroplanes

AD/DH 89/4 Streamline Wires 4/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 10 April 2008.

Background:

The UK CAA cancelled AD No. G-2005-0033 and the associated TNS CT (89)
No. 37.  Worldwide returns from the inspection of ‘stainless steel’ wires on Moth aircraft have indicated that airworthiness is sustainable by the ongoing adoption of good maintenance practice as outlined in TNS CT (89) No. 36 Issue 2, or later issue approved under the authority of the UK CAA.
