AD/DH 84/2 Amdt 2 Undercarriage Strut Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/DH 84/2 Amdt 2.

AD/DH 84/2 Amdt 2 Undercarriage Strut - Inspection 11/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 23 October 2008.

Background:

This AD was originally raised prior to 1967 requiring an inspection for cracks of the weld areas of the undercarriage struts.

Compliance was required within 500 hours TIS from the last inspection and thereafter at intervals not exceeding 500 hours TIS.

As there are no defects recorded on the mandatory reporting system for this, or any other related defect, and routine maintenance covers this requirement, this AD is no longer required.
