AD/DH 82/3 Rudder Bar Attachment Spigot Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/DH 82/3.

AD/DH 82/3 Rudder Bar Attachment Spigot - Modification 11/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 23 October 2008.

Background:

This AD was raised prior to 1961 requiring modifications to the front and rear rudder bars by re-locating the connecting rod locking pins to prevent them becoming unclipped or jammed by fouling the control box.  Compliance was required forthwith.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is no longer required.
