AD/DH 82/1 Undercarriage Strut Modification Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/DH 82/1.

AD/DH 82/1 Undercarriage Strut - Modification 11/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 23 October 2008.

Background:

This AD was raised prior to 1961 and required modifications to the main landing gear by replacing the lower fork fitting, modifying the lower fork bolt, replacing the rivets attaching the upper retaining sleeve and installing a check cable attaching the retaining sleeve to the centre tube.  Compliance was required forthwith.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is no longer required.
