AD/DH 60/1 Compression Leg Tie-Rod Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/DH 60/1.

AD/DH 60/1 Compression Leg Tie-Rod - Inspection 11/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 23 October 2008.

Background:

This AD was raised in1967 requiring inspection of the nut at the lower end of the undercarriage compression leg tie-rod and the rivets at the upper end of the tie-rod for serviceability and integrity.  Compliance was required forthwith.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected by now, this AD is no longer required.
