AD/DH 104/16 Flap System Modification to Prevent Crossing of Pneumatic Lines Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/DH 104/16.

AD/DH 104/16 Flap System Modification to
Prevent Crossing of Pneumatic Lines 11/2008

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 23 October 2008.

Background:

This unique AD was originally raised in 1961 requiring a modification to the flap system to prevent crossing of the pneumatic lines after reported cases both locally and overseas of flap asymmetry on take-off.

Compliance was before 1 September 1971.

As all affected aircraft would have been modified by now, this AD is considered to be no longer required.
