AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/DAUPHIN/29.

Eurocopter SA 360 and SA 365 (Dauphin) Series Helicopters

AD/DAUPHIN/29 Main Rotor Mast 9/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 27 August 2009.

Background:

This unique Australian AD specified action in accordance with SB No. 05.04 revision 2 every 50 hours or 2 months; at each type T inspection; after any operation on
MRH-to-rotor mast attachment bolt nuts; or any sudden or repetitive significant tracking.  This action is now specified in PRE section 05.20.01 in conjunction with MET section 62.30.601.  Use of an AD to mandate these actions is no longer warranted.
