AD/Dauphin/23 Tail Rotor Gearbox Mounting Tripod Internal Surfaces Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/DAUPHIN/23.

Requirement:	CANCELLED.
This AD is cancelled on 27 August 2009.
Background:	This unique Australian AD specified action in accordance with SB No. 01.23 at intervals not exceeding 2400 hours time in service, or whenever the tripod is removed for unscheduled maintenance.  This action is now specified in PRE section 5.99, page 12; in conjunction with MET section 53.10.605.  Use of an AD to mandate this action is no longer warranted.
