AD/CL-600/75 Structural Inspection Program Revision 8/2007

Applicability:

Model CL-600-2B19 aircraft, serial number 7003 and subsequent; without Modsum TC601R16421 or later Transport Canada approved revision, incorporated.

Requirement:

Action in accordance with the requirements of Transport Canada AD CF-2005-05.

Compliance:

As specified in the Requirement document, with a revised effective date of
2 August 2007.

This Airworthiness Directive becomes effective on 2 August 2007.

Background:

During the CRJ-100 complete aircraft fatigue test, a crack was detected at the lower forward corner of the cargo door cut-out.  Cracking of the cargo door surround structure, which has been identified as principal structural element, could adversely affect aircraft structural integrity.  This Directive introduces a revised repeat inspection task schedule.
