AD/CL-600/18 Introduction of Earthing Point 10/2008 DM

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 6 August 2008.

Background:

This unique Australian AD, issued in 1989, required the introduction of an earthing point and bonding jumper between the nose landing gear and the airframe in accordance with Canadair Service Bulletin 600-032.  This Service Bulletin was only applicable to aircraft seeking Australian certification.  The AD compliance was prior to 28 December 1990.  With the introduction of automatic type acceptance of foreign aircraft, the requirements of this AD are no longer required.
