General Electric Turbine Engines - CJ610 Series

AD/CJ610/7 State of Design Airworthiness Directives 13/2022

Applicability:

General Electric Company (GE) CJ610 series turbojet engines.

Requirement:

1.    Determine the applicability of the United States of America Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airworthiness Directives (ADs) listed in Table 1, as in force from time to time.

2.    If it is determined that an FAA AD listed in Table 1 is applicable and has not been previously accomplished, perform the actions required by that AD.

Note 1:  The words “as in force from time to time” require compliance with the most recent version of the referenced document.

Compliance:

For Requirements 1 and 2 - Within 30 days after the commencement date of this Directive.

This AD commences on 15 July 2022.

Background:

The FAA ADs listed in Table 1 of this Directive require one-time actions for which the compliance date and/or period has passed. CASA has determined that these ADs may be applicable to recently registered Australian aircraft. This Directive is issued to ensure all State of Design ADs are complied with.

CASA appreciates that, due to date of aircraft manufacture or aircraft configuration and modification status, not all the ADs listed in Table 1 will be applicable to all aircraft fitted with CJ610 series engines.
