AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 550/6 Amdt 2.

Cessna 550 (Citation II) Series Aeroplanes

AD/CESSNA 550/6 Amdt 2 Tailcone Skin and Vertical
Fin Spar Interference
12/2009

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 19 November 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in1985 against Cessna Service Bulletins (SB) 550-53-6 Rev. 2 and SB 550 550-55-2, required an inspection to ensure that there was no interference between the vertical fin forward spar and the upper tailcone skin.  Compliance was required prior to 30 June 1986.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
