AD/Cessna 550/5 Elevator and Rudder Trim System Inspection Cancelled (Cth)

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE

On the effective date specified below, and for the reasons set out in the background section, the CASA delegate whose signature appears below revokes Airworthiness Directive AD/CESSNA 550/5.

Requirement:

CANCELLED.

This AD is cancelled on 19 November 2009.

Background:

This AD, raised in1983 against Cessna Service Letter (SL) No. 550-27-6, required an inspection of the rudder trim tab stop blocks.  Compliance was required at the next scheduled inspection for maintenance release issue after 30 November 1983.

As all affected aircraft would have been inspected, and, if necessary, modified long ago, this AD is no longer required.
